What we collect
When you request a bouquet
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Delivery details: address, postcode, date, and the recipient’s name and phone number if you give them.
- Your brief: occasion, budget, colour palette, favourite flowers, card message, notes and any inspiration photos you upload.
- Anything you choose to tell us about allergies or pets, so we can make your arrangement safe.
When you make a business or event enquiry
- Your name, company, email address and phone number.
- Event details: type, date, venue, guest numbers, budget, your vision and any photos you upload.
When you pay
Payment is made through the secure payment link we send you. The payment provider processes your card details; we never see or store your full card number.
Automatically
Like all websites, our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. If you arrive from a link containing campaign tags (for example from Instagram), those tags are attached to your form so we know how you found us.

Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business, each bound to look after your data:
- Forminit receives and stores form submissions and uploaded photos (UK company; data held in EU data centres).
- Netlify hosts this website.
- postcodes.io checks that a delivery postcode exists. Only the postcode is sent.
- Google Fonts supplies the website’s fonts, which means your browser shares its IP address with Google.
- Our payment provider, to process your payment.
- Our email provider, so we can correspond with you.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Requests that don’t go ahead: deleted within 6 months.
- Inspiration photos and allergy notes: deleted within 3 months of your order being completed.
- Order and payment records: kept for 6 years, as required for tax and company records.
Photographs of our work
We may photograph arrangements for our portfolio and social media, but we never publish personal details such as addresses, card messages or contact details. Tick “Please don’t photograph or share my arrangement” on the order form, or tell us, if you’d rather we didn’t.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete your information (unless we must keep it, for example for tax records);
- restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format;
- stop using information you gave with consent, such as allergy details.
Email hello@das-floral.co.uk. We’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
